Our Town Celebration
Thank you so much to everyone who bundled up and came out and supported the Our Town 2013 Celebration. Thanks to everyone who contributed in any way with the Celebration this year. Thanks to all the generous donations, the celebration would not be possible with the help of your donations! Despite the weather it was a great success and it couldn't have been done without the efforts of so many people. Thank you to Ricky McMannes for organizing and running the softball tournament. Thank you to all the teams that were a part of the tournament! Thanks to the umpires and scorekeepers. Many compliments were heard on the tournament. Thank you to the many people who volunteered their time to work in the concession and beer tent, to the Highland and Cobb firemen who cooked the chicken and to the volunteers who helped with the chicken dinner fixins. Thanks for P.A.T.H.S for organizing the kiddie parade and Olympics. Thanks to the firemen who volunteered to drive the little around in the fire trucks. Thank you to Todd Michek for organizing and running the volleyball tournament. Thank you to Peg McCarthy and the many talented individuals and groups who participated in the Talent Show, it sure was a wonderful performance by all. Thank you to Olivia Greene for singing the National Anthem beautifully. Thank you to the German Band and the Whiskey River band for your wonderful music. Thanks to Krueger Pyrotechnics for the amazing fireworks display. If we have forgotten anyone, we apologize and want to say thanks!
